Hi Everyone,
Well despite a tough couple of weeks lately,it looks like things are picking up out on the big lake.
Some nice kings have been picked up in the last week around the south channel and pikes bay,and some coho are starting to show up with more coming around the horn of sand bay and heading through the north channel.
Also some browns being picked up in shallower water off washburn and all the way east to the islands, the lakers are still being caught out by the flats but are starting to get into the shallower water with spawning around the corner.
the walleye have been spotty but are out there, try trolling cranks very early or late in the day.
smallies are being taken on walleye suckers east of and around the lighthouse.
We really need a good amount of rain or a big northeaster to get things cranking out here, but there is fish being caught and the weather has been great the last two weeks.
Don't forget to stop by and grab your gear, trolling and casting gear available and we do have big musky suckers in stock as the musky bite will be turning on better each week with the colder nights.
There are a few fish in the rivers but hard to catch with the water very low and clear, with some good rain it will change quickly.
Tight lines to all.
jaime.
