Hello Everyone,
Old man winter has finally made an appearance up here in the northwoods, and ice fishing should be right around the corner.
The inland trout season has come to a close for the 2008 season and most of the boats are in storage.
There still are a few diehard musky fishermen getting out and doing fairly well if they can stay warm, but that season also closes at the end of Nov.
If the weather cooperates you could head out off of houghton point or bodin's resort for some jigging over the side of the boat for trout.
We are now starting to change over our inventory for the winter season and will have some new products different from last year, such as fish finder and shelter gear new for the season.
Also this year we will be offering fresh fish from Bodin's fisheries, both smoked and non-smoked.
But for now everbody is in high gear for the 2008 deer hunting season and we do carry deer corn for the baiters and still have some wonderful rooms available for lodging during your hunt, plus the BowFly shop right across the street for your hunting and taxidermy services.
Good Luck hunting to all and check back right after hunting for the latest ice reports and conditions.
Jaime.
